Your Klean Kanteen is made from durable, 18/8 (#304) stainless steel and is designed to be lightweight, yet extremely strong. If you take care of it, it may very well last your lifetime. It takes far fewer resources to repair a product than to make a brand new one. That's why we design ours to be reparable, whenever possible. While the stainless steel components of our products are virtually indestructible, smaller parts will wear out over time. Replacement Parts and Maintenance Kits
We can help you reduce, reuse and repair!  In the spirit of our effort to reduce waste and keep our reusable products working for you as long as possible, we pulled together commonly needed maintenance kits and replacement parts, so you can access the solutions and keep your caps (and bottles) going!
Washing Bottles, Cups, Canisters and Caps

Our kanteens, cups, tumblers, caps (except for the bamboo cap), canisters and food boxes are all dishwasher safe.

For thorough cleaning, you can use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. We also recommend an old-fashioned cleaner: mixing water and baking soda making a nice thick paste.

If your bottle or cap seems to be retaining flavors or smells, use diluted vinegar and soak them in it overnight.

NOTE

: the Stainless Unibody Bamboo Cap should not be soaked or immersed.

How to Remove Sport Cap Spout
Our sport cap has a removable spout, for thorough cleaning and washing. Simply pinch mouth piece and pull straight out to remove spout.
